O.K a blog is a step down from a website. It is formatted different from a website and is a lot less complicated. There are many ways to earn from it. You can put Google AdSense, sign up for affiliate programs such as clickbank and CJ just to name a few. There are plenty of affiliate programs out there. Sometimes you will notice at the bottom of a page it will say something like "become a affiliate".That's just another way to earn. Also you can do reviews to earn fast cash to your paypal.
There are a couple of companies that I am signed up with such as payperpost.com, smorty.com, loudlaunch.com and a new one called linkworth.com. Now these are all good companies to earn from but their main concern for their bloggers is A) The content must be original B) The higher the blogs Google and Alexa ranks are the more opportunities that blogger will get.
Sometimes if you have a good page rank on your blog you can sell text space. But like I said you must have a good Google PR. One of those companies that allows you to do
that is text-links.com. This is a goodcompany for those who have a good PR.
So you now know where to get associated with these programs and what you need, you now need to know how. Like I said a key factor is Google and Alexa PR. I have written a couple of articles explaining some steps to promoting and increasing your ranks. Now there will be a lot more articles on this blog. It is fairly new so be patient. But I think there is still some valuable content related and directed to traffic marketing.
The trick to earning at your maximum potential is to get higher rankings in search engines and Alexa. Advertisers determine their prices by your blog space traffic and importance.
In order for you to increase your rankings you should link to important websites on Google and ask if they would give a link back. The more links the higher the rankings. For you to increase your Alexa ranking you should first convince all of yourvisitors to download the Alexa toolbar. Second you should put the widget in your site html.
If you can successfully achieve these high rankings then you can earn decent money with your blog.
